According to the Public Relations Office of the International IFDAA Institute, a macramé workshop for women was held at the Gorgan Multipurpose Service Center, aiming to promote economic empowerment and enhance manual skills.

This workshop, part of the center’s educational and skills development programs, was attended by a group of women beneficiaries. During the course, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of macramé, knotting techniques, decorative pattern design, and the creation of handmade household items.

The purpose of this workshop was to create new opportunities for home based employment and to support women on their path toward financial independence. In addition to its economic benefits, learning handicrafts such as macramé can also play a significant role in mental well being, fostering creativity, and boosting women’s self confidence.

The Gorgan Multipurpose Service Center operates under the supervision of the International IFDAA Institute and consistently supports vulnerable communities and promotes personal and social growth through a variety of educational workshops in life skills, empowerment, technical, and artistic fields.
